Mâconnais & Beaujolais

White and red wines. Border regions, complementary. Beautiful landscapes, between rocks and towns. Visit these two wine regions in a single day and understand the techniques and particularities of Chardonnay in its native land and Gamay in its land of excellence.

We will start our day visiting the birthplace of the Chardonnay grape, with a town, which gave its name to the grape. Beautiful landscapes, delicious wines and very competitive prices compared to the rest of Burgundy.

The great star of the region is Pouilly Fuisse, where we will visit the famous Rock of Solutré, surrounded by vineyards.

Then we will stop at a winegrower for a visit and wine tasting. We will understand the methods of making Chardonnay wine.
Lunch break, in Mâcon or in a restaurant in the middle of the vineyards.
In the afternoon, we will go to the northern region of Beaujolais, a land of predilection for the Gamay grape, where it produces unique wines with an aromatic complexity and flavor of extreme quality.

We will select your favorite Cru (there are 10 in total), and we will visit a winery to understand the typical winemaking techniques of this region.
At the end of the visit a tasting is planned.
